RAK

Good morning everyone and even though the sun is out and there's no sign of rain, what a chaotic morning it's turning into! It's now gone Midday and we are all still in our PJ's! The dishwasher broke down this morning and it's only five months' old so I've spent most of the morning trying to get through to Hotpoint to arrange for an Engineer to call.....six phone calls later and I've actually got an appointment! for next Tuesday - yikes, that means I've actually got to wash up by hand until then!!! Just to top it all, the boys have been fighting and arguing and I've got a splitting headache. Oh well, the day can only get better and saying that, it actually improved because the Postman brought me a lovely RAK from Fran.

Isn't it gorgeous?! and look what was inside.......

Fran sent me a card a little while ago with one of these images on it and I mentioned how I liked them. They're Rakle stamps and wasn't that so sweet of her! Thanks so much Fran.
Off to get showered and dressed now (at long last) and then I will be back with a card to show.

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
