Wedding Wishes

A friend of mine recently asked me to make her a wedding card so chose a design I've used before but with a different image from LOTV.

Festive Baubles

This is an idea from Anna Marie Designs which I saw demonstrated recently and fell in love with them immediately.  They are quite a large bauble, too large for a tree, but intend to hang them in my house for Christmas. At the moment, they are balanced on vases, awaiting the right size twine to hang them with!

Turning Glass into Stone!

I've been having a play with some Viva products after seeing a demonstration from Anna Marie.  I started with the napkin ring in case it went horribly wrong as this was the inside of a toilet roll(!) and then progressed onto the vases and tea light holders which were all plain glass when I started. This tea light holder was just me doodling with one of the products and then using a ceramic effect over the top. This one was just using chalky paint, however, when I put the heart on I had messy fingers and smudged the tea light holder with the darker paint so had to paint a (wobbly) line around the top!

More Baby Cards!

A couple more baby cards, very similar in layout and colour to the last two but used a different stamp and these cards only measure 4" square so would make a lovely gift card.

Playing with Backgrounds

Another card I saw demonstrated and loved how it was different from the normal Christmas cards so needless to say, I had a go and then got a bit carried away and did some other non-Christmassy cards!

Hey Baby!

Still on my quest to boost the contents of my card box and clear the craft recordings on my TV so here's the next couple of cards...baby themed this time with a layout from Katie Skilton of Sizzix.

Fly Away Peter...

More quick and simple cards and more batch making.  Saw this card on a TV show with Katie Skilton of Sizzix so just added some scraps of pretty paper and different sentiments and voila!

Same Card, Different Sentiment.

I have been catching up with various demonstrations I've recorded and saw this card and loved it immediately so thought I would have a go.  It then occurred to me that I could use whatever sentiment I wanted on it so I now have six different cards - same image, different sentiment.  A quick and easy way to fill up my card box.  I think the design may have been Pete Hughes as although he wasn't demonstrating on the Sizzix show, it screams out his style.  Dies used were Pete Hughes Looking Dapper from Sizzix and most of the sentiments are from Paper Smooches.

Making a Start on Christmas!

I've been having a play trying to find a suitable Christmas card to make for batch making and to reduce postage costs and this little one seems to have come up trumps.  Saw the design in a recent demo and it really is quick and easy.   While I was at it, had a go at a tag as well for batch making.

Herd the Moos!

Haven't been around for a while as I've actually been busy crafting with loads of projects still to complete!  The card I'm sharing today is one I made for a friend who works with cows!  My old Penny Black stamp seemed very appropriate! Kept it in the clean and simple style. I also had some very happy post - you're probably aware that I love everything Anna Marie Designs and was delighted to find that I'd won a competition on one of her FB pages that I didn't even know I'd entered!  I'd been loading all my AMD projects on the page and these won me the following:- Surprisingly, I don't have any of this in my stash, until now of course, so can't wait to get started with it, although think it may be a while as I have so many other projects to complete first!  You may also notice that I received an AMD original which has pride of place in my craft room.
