Still struggling I'm afraid, but have managed to make a couple of cards and here's one of them..... This is for the Tilda & Co challenge.....I know, I know....I'm late with this one but thought I would have a go anyway as one of my nephews' birthday is coming up soon so thought it would kill two birds with one stone!! The challenge was to use just black and white and I really enjoyed making this. Used William the Goblin and coloured him with Prismas and Sansodor. Paper is from Pink Petticoat printed onto lightweight cardstock, c.s. is Bazzill and ribbon is from Doodlebug. Also used the Magnolia snail and left him white but added some Glamour Dust to his shell. Sentiment is from Autumn Leaves and sticky gems are Papermania. Good morning all! Can't believe it's Friday again.....where has the week gone?!! The challenge on Tilda & Co this week is...... "You don't see many girl cards/projects in blue very often. They are normally pink! Well I would love you to make your projects this week in BLUE! Has to be suitable for a female......" I recently got some new Magnolias and have been wanting to use this one as soon as it arrived and when blue was mentioned, thought of Christmas! So this card will also fit in with Fab's Big Christmas Challenge......another two challenges in one card....what is wrong with me!!! The stamp is Chilly Tilda and I've coloured her with Prismas and Sansodor and plenty of Glamour Dust on her wings, coat and hat (you may have to click on the photo to see this better). Also used the Goblin Tree Stump which has been coloured in the same way and Glamour Dust added to what should be moss (saw this idea on one of the ATCs on Tilda & Friends challenge)....

I'm a bit late in the day posting this card but as usual, time has flown by with one thing or another and now it's nearly seven o'clock in the evening.....where does it go? The challenge on Tilda & Co this week is Ribbon Galore..... "....love to see lots of ribbon on your work. As many ribbons as you can get on your work as possible. You all have heard of the saying "less is more", well we want MORE MORE MORE! This was a difficult one for me as I like to keep my cards very simple with just a few embellishments. However, thought the card I made would grow on me, but it doesn't seem to have! I got this image from Lilian a couple of weeks back and have coloured her with Prismas and Sansodor with Glamour Dust added to her wings and the hearts, and also the hearts in the basket. Back again with my second and final card of the day. Loo is still not fixed but my brother is coming over tomorrow to take a look and see if he can sort it out temporarily until Plumber comes early next week! Right, on to business. The challenge on Tilda & Co., this week (just in again by the skin of my teeth!) is..... "We would love to see your work involve stitches!!! Now this could be as simple as hand stitching, machine stitching, or even faux stitching....." Decided to use the Teddy from Magnolia and coloured him with Brushables. Added a sentiment from the Just Hatched set from Papertrey Ink. Dark blue c.s. is Bazzill Bling and lighter blue c.s. is also Bazzill, with the small panel run through the Cuttlebug with the Hearts embossing folder. Stitches on outer edge of card are Doodlebug rub-ons as is the button. Ribbon is from Dovecraft, eyelets and ribbon (through eyelets) are from my stash. Tiny sticky gems are from Papermania. As promised, I'm back with a card to show. We're all showered and dressed and Sam is ready to go to a bowling party so thought I would quickly post this card. It's not like me to complete this challenge so early.....I usually leave it to last thing Saturday night/Sunday morning lol!! The challenge this week on Tilda & Co is:- "....must have a hidden message on your project, perhaps pull out journalling maybe? A hidden flap?, a slider, something where a message can be hidden away from the public eye....." I nearly didn't bother with this challenge as I thought it was too complicated and would take me too long, but then had a re-think and came up with something really simple. The image of Edwin sat on his pencil is coloured with Prismas and Sansodor with a little glamour dust added to his wings. I've used my Nestabilities to cut him out with his background and mounted him onto Pink Petticoat c.s. with foam pads. Hi All! Sorry I haven't been around lately but I haven't been feeling too good and had a rough couple of days. Starting to improve now and have finally managed to complete a card! This one is a Father's Day card for my Dad and it also incorporates the Tilda & Co and Papertake Weekly challenges. I know I'm too late for Tilda & Co but thought I'd have a go anyway. The theme was male cards. On Papertake this week it was to make a card from Claudia's frame card tutorial. I'd only got as far as stamping out the images before I was ill so the card has been a bit rushed today and is not quite perfect. I have used Bazzill c.s. for the frame card and then used the following Magnolia images: Grandad (or Edwin's Father....not sure of his exact name!), Edwin's dog, part of the Edwin's town, fence, sun and mushrooms......the latter two were kindly stamped by Fran for me. Panic is over in the short term.....popped into my Sister's on the way home from school and she's let me borrow her digital camera so will be able to get some photos of Sam tomorrow and was also able to photograph my latest offering. Hopefully, she'll let me hang onto it until my new one arrives. I've coloured the main Magnolia image with Prismas and Sansodor and used some liquid applique for the inside of the ears and bottoms of the feet to give that fluffy feel! I've finally done it without realising it.....I made a card for the Tilda & Co Challenge and realised, when I'd finished it, that it also fitted in with the Papertake Weekly Challenge - a first for me!! Tilda & Co challenge this week was Romance/Buckle: "....you could use a buckle for a ribbon slider, you could make a buckle from scratch as a closer on a card? or perhaps use an old belt buckle....." and the PTW challenge was Bloomin Gorgeous!: "...to use floral embellishments on your projects...." For this card I've used Tilda with her petticoats (as I call her!) and coloured her with Brushables and added glamour dust to her wings, belt and petticoats. She was then mounted onto Bazzill Bling c.s. I layered the actual card with the same c.s. and Karen Foster paper and then used some ribbon and diamante ribbon buckle from Ribbon Oasis, the flowers are from Bazzill and Poppicrafts and the brad is also from Poppicrafts. The challenge on Tilda & Co., this week is: "...for this week's challenge I would like to see you all make something "baby" related. Be it a card for a newborn baby, be it an album for baby photos? What about a scrapbook page about a baby? Anything goes once again so let your imagination take over on this one......" Kept this one simple. Papers are Pink Petticoat Little Fleurs and "girl" is from PP Hot Gossip. I used this cute Magnolia stamp and coloured her with Brushables with some glamour dust on her wings. Both the image and the word "girl" have been attached with foam pads. Sentiment at the top is a rubber stamp, ribbon is from Dovecraft, and button brads and flowers are from my craft box. The challenge this week on Tilda & Co., is: "....I would like to see shiny silver,.........it could be some shiny mirror card in silver! or could be some metal work/wire. What about some little mirror tiles? or even sequins as long as there is some shiny silver on your work......" This is my contribution. I decided to go for low key with the shiny silver. I used Tilda with the bird stamp but masked out the bird and added a puffy silver heart embellishment on her hand. I coloured her with watercolours and brushables and mounted her using my Nestabilities and some silver mirriboard. The paper is from Karen Foster and the card is Bazzill Bling run through my Big Shot with Cuttlebug swirls embossing folder. Some Papermania sticky ribbon was added to the join and a small silver metal label holder was attached using silver brads. The message "Make A Wish" was made with a free font. Finally three star peel offs were added to the top right-hand side of the card.

Finally got around to finishing my entry for the Tilda & Co challenge which this week is: ".....I would like to see numbers, be it just 1 number on your artwork or lots of numbers......." Sorry the photo is so poor but this was taken in daylight, although you wouldn't think so!! However, the flash does just show up the shimmer on the card. I can't get enough of this paper and card at the moment!! Tilda is coloured with Brushables, with a little glitter for her wings. Doodlebug paper and Bazzill c.s. was used for the background with the lighter piece of pink c.s. being embossed with Cuttlebug hearts embossing folder. The numbers were cut out of Bazzill c.s. with my Cricut using George and Basic Shapes. Both the numbers and Tilda were fixed to the card with foam pads to give a little dimension. Trying to catch up with all my postings at the moment because my internet cut out on me yesterday, so will be back with the blog candy challenge.

This is my contribution to the first challenge on Tilda & Co. I made one of these Wish List books for my friend as a Christmas present and promised myself I would make one for myself but with more pages in!! The one I made for my friend was in natural colours (if you missed it, then it's under the label of Books) but decided to go for something really girly for myself....that's what comes from living in a house full of men!! The challenge this week was to use a Magnolia image and flowers. I cut the covers myself from self-adhesive board and covered them in Karen Foster paper. The insides of the covers were lined with a cream K & Co embossed card. I embossed a piece of pink Bazzill c.s. with Cuttlebug swirls embossing folder and layered that onto some more darker pink Bazzill card. My image was coloured with Brushables with a little sparkle added to her wings. Ribbon, brads and flowers were added as embellishments and the lettering was cut on my Cricut with the George ...

Happy Monday everyone! One child back to school today and the other goes tomorrow which means more time to myself, thank goodness!! I've been contacted by Donna, who has set up a new Challenge site called Tilda & Co Challenge. It's for all of us who have a love of Magnolia stamps.
