It's Blog Candy Time!

I'VE EDITED THIS MESSAGE SO (HOPEFULLY!) IT WILL REMAIN AT THE TOP OF MY BLOG UNTIL THE COMPETITION IS OVER.

PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR NEWER POSTS!

WILL ALSO BE ADDING PHOTOS OF ENTRIES AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST FOR PEOPLE WHO DO NOT HAVE A BLOG.

As promised, it's blog candy time. There are three reasons for me doing this. (1) My counter has passed 16,000 hits - wow! can't believe that! and I would like to say thank you to everyone who visits my blog.....would never have dreamed I would have so many visitors since I began blogging at the beginning of December last year! (2) It's my birthday in just over a week and (3) had some fantastic news - Tony (my husband) is coming home for good!! For those of you who don't know, Tony has been working in Australia for the past 15 months and we have only seen him twice in that time.....the last time being at the beginning of October last year! He should be home within a matter of weeks - he's given me the date of 10 June but that is only provisional at the moment but I don't care! He's given his notice in (no job here as yet - yikes!) but I haven't told the boys and don't plan to....I want it to be a total surprise for them!!! Can't wait to see their faces when they see him at the door!!

Right, on to the candy. Here's what's up for grabs....

I've decided to give away some of my favourite things! The winner will receive:-

  • Set of pink ribbons from Ribbon Mad in their own organza bag
  • 1 pot of Glamour Dust
  • 1 Quickie Glue Pen
  • A selection of flowers (Bazzill, Prima, etc)

  • 1 Pack of Blonde Moments Sugar Dumpling DP
  • 1 Spool of pink stitched ribbon
  • 1 Pack of Fabric Brads from Poppicrafts
  • 1 Pack of Lilac Adhesive Stones from Papermania
  • 1 Set of Acrylic Stamps from Studio G
  • 2 Cute Penguin Stamps from Snag'em Stamps.

I think that's it! Now, all you have to do is make a birthday card which is pretty and pink! That's it! I'd like it to be a new card and just for this challenge please. I will ship internationally and you've got until Midnight (GMT) on 04 June to submit your cards when I will get my two boys to pick a winner out of the hat! Just leave a comment with a link to your card and if you don't have a blog, e-mail me with a photo of it and I will put it on my blog. My e-mail address is in my Profile.

Hope you'll join in and help me celebrate!

This entry is from Joan who doesn't have a blog.

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!...
