Another Panduro and an Award!

Had another attempt at a card when I got back from school yesterday and much happier with this one. Decided to go for a very basic layout and this time, didn't use so much green! I've mentioned before that I'm really out of my comfort zone with the colour green, however, seem to have been making quite a few green cards recently. I already had this Panduro image coloured in so just matted her onto red Bazzill c.s. Layered some SU DP and covered the join with some Certainly Celery and Bashful Blue grosgrain ribbon. Sentiment is from Cuddly Buddly which was layered onto red Bazzill scallop using SU punch. Finally, added two brads from my stash. I recently received this fantastic award from Erin ......... The rules of this award are:- This fab award is given to blogs which - inspire you, make you smile and laugh, or maybe give amazing information, a great read~ has an amazing design and any other reasons you can think of that makes them uber amazing! Not Sure About This One!

I've been a bit pre-occupied this morning and tried hard to make a card which I've managed, however, not sure I really like it. Don't know what it is exactly as I love these Panduro images and I love the SU paper but feeling that maybe it's a bit "cluttered". Anyway it's done now! The Panduro image has been coloured with PM's with some Sakura glitter pen added to the flower. Flowers are SU but were a gift from my good friend Denise, ribbon is from Hobbycraft, brads are from my stash and all the rest is SU. Lovely sunny day again today so must try to get more washing out. Hope the sun's shining where you are.

Something Green

So sorry I haven't been around this week, however, have been busy with college work and personal stuff. The good news is I passed my second module last Monday and I'm working through the third module quite quickly. The challenge on Stamp Something this week is "Green". Now this is a colour I don't use much so it was a real challenge for me! The image is Panduro and has been coloured with Promarkers. I cut her out using a Nestability label die and stamped a Cuddly Buddly sentiment onto it. The papers are from my stash and I distressed the edges a little and sewed around the edges with my machine. Flowers are a mixture from my stash, added a Bazzill brad to each of the centres and pulled apart some heart clips I had and fixed them behind. Sorry this is a bit rushed, however, it's Red Nose Day today and I've got to spray Lewis's hair red before he goes to school! Also, I've got Sam off ill today so will be busy giving out lots of cuddles!! Have a gr...

Friday Sketchers (well, nearly!)

While I had the Panduro images and SU paper out yesterday, thought I would have a go at doing a few cards at a time which I've always had the best intentions to do but never really managed it! Anyway, loved the sketch on Friday Sketchers this week so thought I would use that for one of the cards. However, it was only when I was adding the link that I noticed I'd left off the two embellishments at the bottom - whoops!! This card has been made with the little flower girl image and have used the same supplies as yesterday apart from the Sakura glitter pen on the petals of the flower. I've got two more images coloured in so no doubt you'll be seeing much of the same quite soon!! Big apologies yet again for not visiting your blogs but I'm way behind on that front but will endeavour to catch up.

A Card At Last!

Sorry I haven't been posting for a little while but my mojo did a runner, plus I had alot of paperwork to sort through as well. Anyway, managed to put a card together this morning. I just love these stamps from Panduro and they're a joy to colour! Used my PM's (of course!) with the usual doodling around the edges and used my Sakura glaze pen on the balloons to give them a bit of a shiney effect, although you can't see it in this photo! Papers are from SU and I'm really lovin' them so you will be seeing alot more of them! Cardstock is Bazzill as is the brad and flower is Prima. Sentiment is Woodware and ribbon is from Hobbycraft. I have received another fabulous award from Debi ......thank you so much and sorry, once again, that it's taken me a while to add it to my blog. Also had some good news - I passed my Database exam on Saturday - 100%, no mistakes!!! I really knuckled down and did all the coursework in just over one day (and got 100% in that too!). Go...

Thank You!

The Stamp Something challenge for this week is "Thank You"......it's to say thank you to everyone who took part in the Guest Designer competition by entering or by voting, so thank you all :) The image was part of a RAK I received and I absolutely love it.....so much so, that I've bought the set! They're Panduro and there's plenty of other cuties in the set! I've coloured her with Promarkers and then layered her onto SU Brocade Blue c.s. and Pink Petticoat Bluebell papers which have been printed onto lightweight c.s. Used the SU slot punch on one panel and threaded through some grosgrain ribbon from Dovecraft. Sentiment stamp is from SU, as is the scallop punch which I have used on Brocade Blue c.s. and cut into it to make it look more like a flower. I've got a feeling you're going to be seeing alot more "blue" cards as I'm really lovin' this range of papers at the moment! Hope you all have a great weekend.
