Mixed Media Journals

Another project to get my mojo up and running.  Today it's the turn of journals. The first two journals are made using the larger Eileen Hull Journal die.  I covered them with a sheet of cardstock I had decorated with Pixie Powders and then added layers of rice paper which I had used to mop up the Pixie Powders and then overstepped with Indigo Blu stamps with a Versafine ink pad.  The main image is a rice paper from Stamperia. I couldn't resist doing a couple of the smaller passport journals with the lovely flamingo napkins again!

Welcome to 2019

...albeit a little late! I don't know about other people but after the huge amount of crafting I do in the lead up to Christmas, by the time Christmas is over and I have some spare time to craft, I have lost my mojo which is exactly what happened to me this January.  I decided therefore, to have a bit of a play and try something a little different to what I am used to...candles! I only had one set of Starlight candle paint colours to play with, hence all the pink and purple!  So I started with a dirty pour.  This really is fun to do, if a bit messy, but you just never know how it's going to turn out. I then decided to see if I could add a stamped image but painted the tissue paper first to make it blend in. ...and finally, some plain candles using an ombré effect.

More Baubles!

I think I may have finally caught up with all the Christmas makes - more baubles today.  I had quite a response when I posted a photo on FB, everyone seemed to like them and wanted one! Sorry about the amount of pictures.

Christmas Crackers

Still catching up with my Christmas makes.  Today it's the turn of my Christmas crackers. I filled them with a hand stamped joke courtesy of Stamps by Me, yummy chocolates and a lottery ticket - unfortunately no jackpot winners!

Family Frames

Today I'm showing a couple of frames I made - one for a gift and another a commission.

Final Bottle Lamp

This is the last of the lamps I made for gifts - the smaller version with a birdcage image.  All products used were as originally stated.
