More of the Same!

After making Sam's birthday card recently, thought I would build up my supply of cards and use up the toppers on the sheet with similar cards. The first three are 6" x 6" and the last two are 8" x 8".  Used various scraps of paper but plain blue card stock with my Inky Doodles Fabulous Fabrics stamps to create a pattern.

More from the Needles & Pins

A few more cards from the Hobby House Needles & Pins kit…three more projects left to make which are not cards so watch this space!

Criss Cross Sewing Card

Here's another first for me - a different type of card I've never tried before… It's another project from the Hobby House Needles & Pins kit.

A First For Me!

Really enjoying the various Hobby House kits which I bought recently and one of the projects in the Needles & Pins Kit was this shadow box.   In all the years I have been crafting, I have never attempted one of these before and was amazed at how simple it was to make!

Just A Note

I recently bought a Hobby House kit - I fancied a change from making a card - and was surprised how easy this was to make. The kit is called "Just A Note" and makes a birdhouse which contains six notelets and envelopes, a memo pad folder and a post it note folder.

Game On!

Quick posting showing the card I made for my youngest who turned 13 this weekend! I've added a pocket to the inside as he wanted money this year to put towards a new DS.  Was quite pleased how the background turned out as it was originally plain blue card stock but used a couple of Inky Doodles stamps to create a patterned effect with stitching.

Mad Rabbit!

I recently found a blog called Buttons for Brains and saw a card on it designed by the very talented Liz McGuire which I fell in love with immediately. Firstly, it used one of my favourite stamps and a set of sentiments which I recently purchased but more importantly, it gave me inspiration of how I could use the rabbit other than for Easter.  I always struggle with clean and simple cards but decided to bite the bullet and just make the card as Liz had.  I must admit, I really had to slap my knuckles when I'd finished it as I desperately wanted to add more but then it wouldn't have been 'CAS' would it?! Not as good as Liz's original and it also has a dirty smudge on it(!) but I was pleased with it.
