First Christmas Cards!

Here's another pack I completed with two firsts for me - (1) making Christmas cards in August - usually my preparations for Christmas don't start until November at the earliest! and (2) different shaped cards - I'm more the 8" x 8" or 6" x 6" kind of girl! The first is a fancy edge gatefold with an insert with folds inside to give a compact square card. Next, a tent card... … then a rocker card - must admit I like this one because of the simplicity of it. Finally, a stepper card... These were all part of a kit from Which Craft which included the adorable robin stamp from Woodware.

Pack Your Suitcase!

Here's my final project from The Hobby House "Here Comes Summer" kit.  Must admit this was very fiddly to make as the instructions were a little confusing and the majority of the case is made from card stock with a little chipboard to add reinforcement.  However, got there in the end! It's ideal to use as a gift to put some cards or a small lightweight present in.

Here Comes Summer Kit Part II

Finally got around to photographing the remaining cards from the "Here Comes Summer" kit from the Hobby House!

Card & Present All In One!

I made this card a couple of months ago for a friend who wanted a special 21st birthday card for her Granddaughter.  She liked the design I had used before but instead of using an image or sentiment as the focal point, decided to use the pretty Pandora earrings instead. Here's a close up of the centrepiece with the earrings... …and finally the decorated box.  Kept it very clean and simple as the recipient isn't a "flower and bling" type of girl!

Here Comes Summer Kit (Part I)

Here's two of the cards I have made from The Hobby House "Here Comes Summer" kit.   More to come soon - I have finished the whole kit but haven't managed to photograph the rest of the cards yet!

Wee Hopeful Card Kit

I've had a couple of weeks off work and despite being ill for the majority of the first week, finally managed to attack the pile of craft goodies that have been building up in my craft room!  The following cards are from the Wee Hopeful card kit from The Hobby House.

Craft Room Storage

I've been catching up on a few outstanding projects I have which included a couple of items for construction and altering for my craft desk. This first one is a Tool Tote from Stamps Away, made of MDF, which I painted and decorated with Graphic 45 "Raining Cats & Dogs" papers.  I absolutely adore the colours of these papers. My second project was from My Creative Spirit and is called A Craft Maid.  This one was a little trickier as it is made of greyboard so needed a bit more support initially.  However, now it has been glued, painted, papered and varnished, it is very sturdy and holding plenty of heavy items.  I used the  remaining Graphic 45 papers from the 12" x 12" pad.
