Don't Look Heather!!!

If you're visiting my blog, then please avert your eyes Heather! This card is the one I've made for my SBS-13 swap.....I know I'm late but what with being ill etc., I just managed to finish it today so intend on posting it tomorrow.

And a closer view of the main picture......

I've used Tilda Butterfly and Tulip Grass stamps from Magnolia coloured with Prismas and Sansodor, with some Glamour Dust added to her wings and the butterfly. The background is coloured with some inks I bought from Create and Craft ages ago. Tilda has been fixed with foam pads to bring her forward a little. The whole image has been mounted onto Bazzill c.s. and the paper used is from Blonde Moments. Flowers are from Poppicrafts and the brads are Papermania. The sentiment is a Mini Message from Craftwork Cards.

Had a busy day today running here, there and everywhere but had some good news. Lewis got his school report which was excellent! Also had a Parents' Evening for Sam and was told by the Teacher that she had "high hopes for him"!! What a couple of clever lads I have!!!

Have also been working on a little Easter project for my boys which I should be able to share with you tomorrow......just got to get a few more sweeties to put in them and then photograph it. Hope you're having a great Wednesday and will be back again tomorrow :)

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!
