PTW - Sketch Challenge

Early start for me this morning as I'll be out for most of the day but the day has started well....the boys are in a good mood and no arguing so far!!!
The challenge on PTW this week is a sketch from Katharina and I really enjoyed this one.
....and surprisingly enough I've used green! Can you believe it - all the times I've moaned about green but I bought some new Laura Ashley papers and they've really inspired me!

Here's the boring bit! Coloured Tilda with Prismas and Sansodor and added glamour dust to her wings, petticoat and bunch of flowers. Cardstock is Bazzill and paper is from Laura Ashley. Ribbon is from Little Silver Hat, sentiment is Woodware and charm brad is from Papermania.

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Happy Blogoversary To Me!!

THIS IS NOW CLOSED........WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER TODAY! ***** THIS POSTING WILL REMAIN AT THE TOP UNTIL 09 DECEMBER. FOR NEWER POSTS, PLEASE SEE BELOW ***** I just can't believe it's a year ago that I started up my blog and thought I was sat there talking to myself!!! and I am so thankful for all the wonderful people and friends I have made over the past year - you're such a great bunch of girls!! So, as promised, have got some candy to share with you all. This includes a Lippy Chick Flip Book for altering, High Hopes stamps, Cricketer stamp, alphabet stamps, ribbons, flowers, brads and embellishment kit (all from Poppicrafts). All you have to do to help me celebrate is leave a comment and mention my blog candy on your blog and that's it!! I will draw a winner next Tuesday 09 December and in the meantime, will leave this posting at the top of my blog. Oh, and by the way, this is open to everyone as I will post internationally. Hope you all have a great day!

Fancy a Magnolia?

Firstly, I'd like to say thank you to everyone who has visited my blog over the last six weeks. It's amazing, I really didn't think I would get so many hits when I started out. It really is appreciated. Now to the blog candy......I've thought long and hard about this and decided to do something a little bit different. The reason being, I think even though we enjoy making cards, we're all so busy with birthdays, challenges, and everyday life, so I thought I'd make it simple. I admit to being a bit(?) of a nosey old moo!! so what I would like you to do is send a link to a photo of your craft space. Don't worry how tidy(?)/untidy, small, big, whatever, your space is. Could be a room (I'd kill for one!), a corner of a room (like mine!), a dining room table. It doesn't matter, just add a comment with a link to your blog and if you haven't got a blog, then e-mail me a photo (my e-mail link is in my Profile). Just to get you started, here's my space...
