Easter Cards

What a day!! After all the warnings about the weather, I was a bit surprised to wake up to a slight wind......the weather, not me!! and thought, they got it wrong! Oh boy, was I wrong!! One minute it has been chucking it down with rain and the next, brilliant sunshine, however, still with the strong winds they predicted.

Had to pop out to Asda to do some shopping which I did in extra quick time, then spent the rest of my free time trying to catch up with my Easter gifts. Have made quite a few today with about another eight to make which I should be able to do this evening and tomorrow morning. Will post a photo of them when they're complete.

In the meantime, have a couple of Easter cards to show, which I put together last night. The first is very similar to my 'boingy' card as it's the same stamp and paper so thought I would make use of the leftovers.

Stamp is Whipper Snapper coloured with Prismas and Sansodor and Brushables, with liquid applique on the ears, c.s., flower and brad are Bazzill and paper is from Blonde Moments.

The second card is from an image Fran sent me.......I fell in love with it so just had to buy the stamp!! This is coloured with Brushables which took about two seconds!! All papers are Pink Petticoat, brad is from Poppicrafts and sentiment is from Just Hatched set at Papertrey Ink. Very quick and simple!

The brad has come out a bit brighter than it is in real life.....it's more of a pastel pink. It's really kind of my Sister to lend me her camera, however, I don't like it and can't wait to get my new one. I think I missed it today while I was shopping, as a parcel was delivered but taken back again. Why is it when you pop out for 30 minutes, the Postie decides to bring your parcels?!!! Anyway, they're re-delivering it tomorrow so I'm going nowhere!!!

So fun! Great layout on these. I love both but I have to say the frog is my favorite for the giggle factor. Great job!

hope it's not too windy where you are - seems we have a temporary lull at the moment. Fab cards you've made, I had some of that Blonde Moments paper as a magazine freebie so will have to dig it out!

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!
