How Old Do You Think You Are?

Here's a card I made for my Brother-in-Law who will be 70 tomorrow! Always find it difficult to make cards for men so took the colours and layout from the typewriter card I made but used the stars paper from Pink Petticoat instead of the hearts and added a star cut using my Cricut (once I'd cleaned off the dust from it!). The main image is a stamp from Penny Black. Well, I'm slowly recovering but it definitely is a VERY slow process which doesn't help because I'm not a very patient kind of person! Have a great weekend.

Not Sure About This One

Felt a bit out of my comfort zone with this card. Wanted to use this Rubber Romance image because it looks like the girl I've made the card for, however, it's quite a large stamp which meant having to use a bigger card. Only used to using small square cards so when I'd finished, it looked like too much patterned paper for my liking!

Here's One I Pinched Earlier!

Needed to make quite a few simple cards to say thank you and remember seeing a card on Leann's blog which she featured for Pink Petticoat. Needless to say, I bought the images and mine isn't quite as good as hers as no stitching etc but was really pleased with the end result. I love Leann's work and wish I could create with such charm.

Feels Like Me!

Must admit feel a bit like this snail at the moment...couldn't rush if I tried so keep plodding along! Needed a New Home card for one of my ladies I work for so this Whipper Snapper image got inked up as it's a favourite of mine for this type of card. Papers are a combination of MME and sentiment is Papertrey Inc. Unfortunately, can't use my sewing machine at the moment as it's too heavy for me to lift onto the table, so once again, a very simple and straightforward card!

A Simple Thank You

I'm using the same simple layout at the moment until I'm fully back on my feet and on this card used a cute little image from Whipper Snapper which I've had for years. Papers are a mixture of MME and Whiff of Joy and sentiment is SU. My health is now starting to improve at long last, however, still have to take it very slowly as my energy levels are nearly zero!

Best Kind of Friend

Here's a card I did the ground work for before going into hospital and managed to finish it off over a couple of days - can't believe how slow I am at the moment and how tired I get! It was for Lewis's best pal - very simple (the card not the friend!)

A Quick Thank You

Just a very quick posting as, at the moment, I am just starting to recover after two operations in less than a week and can't sit for long at the computer. Just wanted to show a card I put together for a lovely lady who works at the hospital who took the time to come and see me in Recovery and found me a bed! She loves cats so thought I'd use this PB image.
