Panic Over.......Spring is in the Air

Panic is over in the short term.....popped into my Sister's on the way home from school and she's let me borrow her digital camera so will be able to get some photos of Sam tomorrow and was also able to photograph my latest offering. Hopefully, she'll let me hang onto it until my new one arrives.

The challenge on Tilda & Co., this week is Spring is in the Air -

".....You could make an Easter card, a gift box for Easter eggs or other goodies, alter a flowerpot for some Spring flowers or a Spring themed card or layout. Absolutely anything as long as it has at least one Magnolia stamped image and follows the theme....."

This is the first of many I need to make this year! I've coloured the main Magnolia image with Prismas and Sansodor and used some liquid applique for the inside of the ears and bottoms of the feet to give that fluffy feel! The Magnolia flower grass is also coloured with Prismas and Sansodor and Brushables. It doesn't show very well in the photo, but the sky has been done using shimmery chalks. The sentiment is from the Just Hatched set from Papertrey Ink as is the bag. Used my rectangle Nestabilities on the background and mounted the "bunny" with foam pads. Ribbon is from my stash and mini eggs are from Asda!!!! Even though I say it myself, it looks alot better in real life :)

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!
