Honey Bee-trice

I've had this little cutie for a while now but hadn't got around to inking her up.  Her name is Honey Bee-trice and she's from CC Designs. She's coloured with Promarkers and the papers are from Pink Petticoat.  The sentiment is from Paper Smooches and the die cut is a freebie I received with a recent order from Dies to Die For.  Finally, just added a bit of string, some cardstock from SU for layering and some stitching.

Some Christmas Cards At Last!

Well, I've finally got around to putting some Christmas cards together and here's a few of the first design - they all look pretty much the same as I've used the CC Design image (which I absolutely love!)and papers from First Edition Christmas Joy. I kept some quite flat for posting and others layered with foam pads and embellishments for delivering by hand. Sentiment is from Pink Petticoat. Feel like I'm at last getting organised for Christmas...just a few little bits to sort plus the food to order and then I'm done...we're even off to the Pantomime on the 23rd to get us into the Christmas spirit...it's behind you!!!

A Couple More

Here are the other two cards which I put together...quick and simple!

Cupcakes

As promised, here's another card I made a week or so ago using a CC Designs image and Magnolia papers. Hope you like it.

Happy Halloween

Finally managed to finish our Halloween goodies....I've got two very excited boys, however, need to get the decorations out of the loft and carve the pumpkins and then we're ready to go. In the meantime, here's a glimpse of the things I've had to make over the last couple of days (lastminute.com again!). Sorry about the photos but my desk is absolutely overflowing and I just didn't have the room to clear it. Firstly, this is a card and gift bag I made for Lewis's friend Shamika who is hosting a Halloween party tonight. Both images and sentiments are CC Designs from the Ollie and Griselda collection. Papers are the free download I mentioned in my previous posting. Here are a couple of gift bags I made last night for the boys and a very last minute bag (at bottom of picture) for one of Lewis's friends who will unexpectedly be staying with us tonight! The little vampire and "Boo" sentiment are CC Designs Spooks, Spooks, Spooks set and the Mummy is Sug...

Eeeek!

Here's a little Halloween card I made for one of Sam's friends who came to play yesterday...should have some more to show you once I've photographed them! Also made him a goody bag but forgot to take a picture of that doh! This little critter is from CC Designs along with the sentiment. Papers are a free download I've had for ages and ribbon is from my stash. Got to rush now as we had a nice long lazy lie in this morning which means I've still got loads to do but less time to do it in! Have a great weekend!

How Many Fingers Are You?

Another late card and another apology - what is happening to me? I hardly ever missed people's birthdays before but it seems to have become a bit of a habit lately. I've made another paperbag card so I could enclose some images. Used a little cutie from CC Designs, coloured with PMs with some doodling and mounted on Bazzill c.s. Papers are Blonde Moments with some distressing and faux stitching. Used an SU punch and some flowers and a brad from my stash. Finally, added a sentiment from Craftwork Cards. Here's a peek at the inside - Bazzill c.s. and Blonde Moments papers and a quote which Vanessa sent me a while back. Layered this using Nesties and used the labels Nesties on the opposite page to make a space for a message. Not much work on today so it gave me the perfect opportunity to blitz the house as we've got the scaffolding going up tomorrow in preparation for the re-rendering - a very dirty and noisy job! Thankfully I'll be out of the house so won't ha...

Valentine's Something!

It's Friday already, thank goodness, which means it's time for a Stamp Something challenge, which this week is Valentines! I thought I'd make something for the two little loves in my life - Lewis and Sam - so I've made this. I've been wanting to make one of these for a little while and thought it was ideal to put a packet of Love Hearts in. I'll be making them something else to go with it but haven't got around to that yet!! The image and sentiment is from c.c. Designs and coloured with Promarkers - or should that be "one Promarker"!!! Papers are Bo Bunny and cardstock is Bazzill Bling, which has been run through the Cuttlebug with the Hearts Block folder. Used my Nesties to layer the little Grunter (!) and added a couple of wooden hearts from my stash and some sticky gems from Papermania. Just added some Creative Smooth c.s. to the inside with a double heart stamp from Hampton Art Stamps and some doodling. Think the boys will be more interested in...

The Never Ending Story!

Or rather, the never ending Christmas cards!! Yep, there's more! I'm back earlier than anticipated! Stamps: CC Designs, Penny Black, Whipper Snapper, Stampin Up, Doodlebug Colouring: Promarkers Papers/Cardstock: K & Co, My Minds Eye, Miscellaneous(!), Bazzill Extras: Glamour Dust, SU Scallop Punch, Mirricard Well, that's all the cards now until next year when I hope I will have learned my lesson and not end up making them all in the last week before Christmas......in fact, think I'll have to make a start on Boxing Day!!! Will have a couple more christmassy things to show you tomorrow but (breathes a big sigh of relief!), they're not cards. Going to have a BIG glass of wine now and sulk as Lisa and Brendon didn't win......definitely think that was a fix lol!!!

Things With Wings

The challenge on CCT this week is "Things With Wings"..... ".....Anything with wings which is cute is fine for the challenge..." For some reason, don't ask me why, I didn't want to use a Magnolia stamp so went for this little fella from Stampin Up. It was a very quick and simple card to make. I coloured the owl with Prismas and Sansodor and added some Glamour Dust to his chest. I then layered him onto Bazzill c.s. with my Woodware punches. The background paper is from the chocolate blox from Craftwork Cards as are the chocolate drop embellishments. The dark brown paper (which has a shimmer to it) has been run through the Cuttlebug with the Spots & Dots Embossing Folder and some ribbon from my stash was fixed across the join. Told you it was quick!! Then decided to do another one!! This time I used an image from the Little Penguins set from C.C. Designs which has been sat in my box unused since buying them a few months back! Coloured him with Brushables...
