Violets are Blue!!

Back again, can you believe it, two postings in one day?!! The reason being, I've had the kids off school all week with a bug of some kind and they've gone back today so I'm trying to catch up with my cardmaking.

The PTW challenge this week is:

"....Yep, you guessed it! It's......Violets are Blue! We'd like to see Blues or Purples this week please!......."

I've used the Tilda with a Garland image which has been coloured using watercolours with a little glitter dust added to her petticoat and the centre of the flowers (doesn't show too well because the photo isn't good). Paper is Doodlebug, c.s. is Bazzill and the top piece has been run through the Big Shot with Cuttlebug circle flowers embossing folder. Sentiment is from Pink Petticoat, flower and brad are from Poppicrafts and ribbon is some which I had in my craft box.

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
