New Stash!

Had a great morning! Let me explain more......I ordered some Nestabilities from the States a week ago and they arrived on Saturday!

I've been dying to have a go with them and being a bit uncertain of what exactly I needed, I had a browse on Papertrey Ink and it explained what you needed for each different die cut machine, so I ordered the small rectangles (just for starters!!) and the tan mat. I also needed the white spacer plate 'cause I have a Big shot but managed to get these from Joanna Sheen

Anyway, this morning I had to take my youngest to the Dentist which just happens to be a short trip from Craft Central (Weymouth only has one craft shop and this is it!) so I popped in on the way home and bought this:

I needed a storage box for all my unmounted stamps as the box I presently have is too small and just had to buy a couple more bits and pieces! However, when I got home, I found this on the doormat!

My first Bellas!! Can't wait to use them although I think I'm gonna have to as I've got quite a few things to finish this week for challenges etc. I told myself that I'm starting a stash diet on Wednesday (same day as food diet!!) so I went a bit mad on the internet!! Still waiting for some PB stamps, Cuttlebug embossing folders, Pink Cat Studio stamps and CC Design stamps!!

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
