They're Coming To Take It Away Ha! Ha!

Well today will be an interesting day. Before Christmas I had to call the TV Engineer in because we were getting lines down the picture on our TV. He knew what it was as soon as he saw it and because it's covered by insurance (thank God!) we had to wait to find out what the insurance company would decide - either replace it with a brand new TV (yes please!) or take it away and repair it. Well you can guess what the decision was...... take it away for repairs. Only trouble is, they keep it for about ten days and don't provide us with a replacement. I have a teeny weeny portable in my bedroom which we can use but bear in mind that the one which is broken is a 39" flat screen plasma...... you get the idea! Just a slight difference PLUS no Sky! It won't bother me as I don't watch a great deal of TV however, it will be interesting to see what effect it will have on the boys. I know they probably watch too much TV but sometimes, it just makes things a bit easier for me - lets me get on with jobs without them bothering me all the time! I think they're just about to rediscover the joys of playing - crikey they've got so many toys and things to do, it shouldn't really be a problem!

I've got another Fluffles card to show you today. I printed a Pink Petticoat design straight onto the card again, then added some co-ordinating PP stripe paper. The ribbon is Dovecraft (I do like this as it's only 99p for a roll in Craft Central!), brads from my craftbox and a Woodware sentiment stamped onto the paper. The image has been coloured with Brushables and layered onto more PP co-ordinating card and then mounted with foam pads.

Will be back to load another card soon.

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
