Another Birthday?

What an awful morning! Blowing a gale and tipping down with rain, in fact, I'm just drying my trousers on the radiator where I got soaked coming home from school!

Thought I'd show you a card I made recently. It's for a man and they're always a bit tricky.

The message inside the card reads "Weren't you old enough last year?"!!!

I've used a PB Stickeroo and matted it onto Bazzill c.s. I embossed a piece of Bazzill c.s. with Cuttlebug embossing folder and added a couple of Bazzill brads and a piece of ribbon from my craftbox. A very quick card.

Great card Jo, like the colours. I always find men's cards tricky as well.

I don't know why cos if you stop and look, they're usually more simple (like they are?! lol) to make but I still can't churn them out like girly cards :)

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!
