Birthday Mice


Morning all - or should I say good afternoon! Had a lazy morning 'cause the kids had a BIG lie in and didn't get out of bed until 11.00 am - lazy lot!! Haven't done much this morning so thought I'd load this card on first and then get back to spring cleaning. I'm desperate to sort out my craft stuff but have to do the rest of the house first otherwise it will never get done.

This is another image I found already coloured and layered. I put this card together New Year's Eve and I'm not too sure about the colours. Was feeling a bit out of sorts and I think it shows in the card. It's another Penny Black stamp which I tend to use quite a bit, with Pink Petticoat design printed straight to the card. Layered c.s. is Bazzill, ribbon is Dovecraft, miscellaneous brads I had in my craftbox and sentiment is stamped straight onto the card.

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
