Numbers

Finally got around to finishing my entry for the Tilda & Co challenge which this week is:

".....I would like to see numbers, be it just 1 number on your artwork or lots of numbers......."

Sorry the photo is so poor but this was taken in daylight, although you wouldn't think so!! However, the flash does just show up the shimmer on the card. I can't get enough of this paper and card at the moment!! Tilda is coloured with Brushables, with a little glitter for her wings. Doodlebug paper and Bazzill c.s. was used for the background with the lighter piece of pink c.s. being embossed with Cuttlebug hearts embossing folder. The numbers were cut out of Bazzill c.s. with my Cricut using George and Basic Shapes. Both the numbers and Tilda were fixed to the card with foam pads to give a little dimension.

Trying to catch up with all my postings at the moment because my internet cut out on me yesterday, so will be back with the blog candy challenge.

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
