Me and My Shadow!

Daring Cardmakers Challenge this week is:

"....I want you to create not just one but TWO cards! But wait......there's more! I want both cards to contain the same embellishments and papers, ribbons, etc., but arranged in a different way for a different occasion...the only thing being different is the wording....."

Thought I'd try out one of my new Magnolia stamps for this one and some different Pink Petticoat paper but still blueberry!!

Can you spot the difference?!!!

For both cards I have used: Magnolia stamp, Papermania navy shimmer cards, Pink Petticoat blueberry papers, Bazzill c.s. Dovecraft ribbon, Papermania white brads, sentiment is free font.

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!
