Bit 'a' Bling

Papertake Weekly Challenge this week is:

"....to use 'bling' on your card somewhere!! This could be glitter, gems, or anything else sparkly!!...."

This is my contribution. I printed a Pink Petticoat design straight to card. The image is a Groovy Chick stamp coloured with Marvy and a Sakura glaze pen. This was then layered onto Bazzill c.s. and mounted with foam pads. The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat layered the same as the image and I added Papermania sticky jewels to the engagement ring and parts of the card. Finally a fabric heart was attached to the image.

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!
