Fancy a Magnolia?

Firstly, I'd like to say thank you to everyone who has visited my blog over the last six weeks. It's amazing, I really didn't think I would get so many hits when I started out. It really is appreciated.

Now to the blog candy......I've thought long and hard about this and decided to do something a little bit different. The reason being, I think even though we enjoy making cards, we're all so busy with birthdays, challenges, and everyday life, so I thought I'd make it simple.

I admit to being a bit(?) of a nosey old moo!! so what I would like you to do is send a link to a photo of your craft space. Don't worry how tidy(?)/untidy, small, big, whatever, your space is. Could be a room (I'd kill for one!), a corner of a room (like mine!), a dining room table. It doesn't matter, just add a comment with a link to your blog and if you haven't got a blog, then e-mail me a photo (my e-mail link is in my Profile).

Just to get you started, here's my space.

It's in my bedroom and seems quite tidy really when I'm not crafting, but look what happens when I start making things!

You see, my bed is directly behind me when I'm at my desk crafting so I tend to dump things on the bed when I'm looking for that certain little thing which will finish my card off perfectly!! I always have to make sure I tidy up when I've finished, otherwise I'd never get into bed at night!!

Thought you might like to see the stamp which is up for grabs.

I've already got one of these so have stamped an image so you can see it better.

This little competition is open to anyone, wherever you are, until 31 January when I will put all the names in a hat and get my two handsome Assistants (Lewis and Sam!) to pull out a winner.....hopefully without them fighting about it!!

Look forward to seeing your craft spaces and thanks once again for visiting.

Hi Jo, thanks for the fab idea of getting us all to show our craft space, unfortunately I'm a nosey moo too and had to go and look at everyones photos....God its depressing, most people seem to have their own space, but not me! Anyhow, I've decided to make it my soul mission to persuade my daughter that she needs to leave home lol then I too can have a craft room!!!!(evil laugh)

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!
