Cat in a Hammock!

As I mentioned before, I found alot of images I had already coloured so made this quick card from one. I suppose I'm trying to start one of my resolutions early - to have cards made in advance for birthdays! Anyway, it's one of my favourite stamps and is coloured with Brushables and mounted onto Pink Petticoat card with foam pads, after being layered onto Bazzill c.s. Sentiment was stamped directly onto card.

Haven't got much further with sorting out my craft stuff but had a great time this afternoon - blitzed Lewis's bedroom - crikey what a mess! and ended up with a full bin bag full of rubbish. The good thing about it was that he was out with a friend so I didn't have him leaning over my shoulder saying "please don't chuck that"! Tomorrow is Sam's turn - he's got a small bedroom so I've got to be ruthless, especially with all the new toys he got for Christmas. This is the one thing I enjoy about New Year - the spring cleaning. I hate housework normally, but seem to relish this time of year!!

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
