Birthday Sparkle


Thought I'd just post this birthday card as I shall be busy tomorrow and then it's Christmas yippee!! This is a design from a lady called Vivienne who has a gallery on Do Crafts and Pink Petticoat. I've made this card before but thought it would be ideal for my SIL plus it's also very quick and easy to make. I printed Pink Petticoat designs straight onto the card (on both sides). Printed out the image onto card and coloured with Marvy, then layered onto Bazzill c.s. Mounted this with foam pads and added some sticky Papermania ribbon and a bow. Took me all of ten minutes!!
I'd like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Peaceful New Year. Let's hope 2008 proves a great year for us all!

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
