Look What I Found

Hi all! Sorry, couldn't do a posting yesterday - Sam was off school with a bug. Poor little chap was like a rag doll - fever, no energy, loss of appetite - I'm sure you're all familiar with it. Trouble is where he is so little, I always worry because he can't tell me exactly what's wrong. Anyway, he seems alot better this morning - chatting and hungry!! Just hope Lewis doesn't catch it now.

Haven't made any cards but when we were putting Lewis's birthday cards away, we found the one I made him last year so thought I would share it with you - I just love the baby photo I used for it - so cute!!

It's my SIL birthday straight after Christmas (there's always one, isn't there?!!!) so will have to find time to make her a card. Have a good Saturday and for those of you who have to go shopping.... good luck!!

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
