Teacher's Card

Wow! Would just like to say a big "thank you" to everyone who has left comments - I was very touched, and there was me thinking I was talking to myself!

Another very wet day in Weymouth and a very busy one as well! Seem to have spent the whole day driving from one place to another but with good results, cause I got alot of jobs done. Was just a teeny weeny bit naughty - had to pop into Craft Central to buy a voucher for my sister and I just couldn't do it ................ I just had to buy some card and paper for me as well!! I have absolutely no willpower at all when I'm in a craft shop!

Anyway, have just finished a couple of cards for my kids' teachers - what happened to there being just one teacher per class - they now have three per class (including TA's)! I've made a couple of this one. It's a Penny Black stamp again (!) with Blonde Moments paper, Bazzill cardstock embossed with Cuttlebug snowflakes folder (again!), a Pink Petticoat sentiment, Blonde Moments ribbon and some Christmas tree brads (sorry, can't remember the make).
Must go and start writing some cards now so I can work out how many more I've got to make.

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
