Red and White

Finally got around to completing the DCM challenge for this week, it is:

"....this week we decided on a colour combination for a change. We want you to design a card using only red and white on your cards....."



Papers are from Pink Petticoat, ribbon is from Dovecraft and Papermania sticky gems were also used. The image and sentiment are from Pink Cat Studio and was coloured with Marvy with a little Stickles added to the flower on her hat.

Back to work now to try and catch up with the other challenges!

Birthday Blog Candy!

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!...
