New Stash and Tara's Blog Candy

Had a couple of parcels arrive yesterday and today from the States and look what was in them!

My Prismas arrived after only about one week!! Can't wait to have a play with them, however, I see what Fran means now.....have to put them in some kind of order and sharpen them first!! Also, my Penny Blacks arrived from H M Stamps...they took a bit longer but were well worth the wait. What do you think Tara? They're so much cheaper!!

Talking of Tara, she's got a blog candy competition on at the moment to make a baby card, so here's my entry.

I just adore this image. It's from Stampin Bella and I coloured it with Brushables. The cardstock is Bazzill and the paper is Doodlebug. Ribbon is from Dovecraft and the word "Sweetpea" is made with my Quickutz. Brads are from Poppicrafts and the button is from Doodlebug as well.

Sorry this is so rushed, however, we were late home tonight and have only just fed the boys and need to get them ready for bed.

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
