Look What I Got Part 1!

Sorry, still no cards of my own to share but plenty of other things to show you. Good news is I'm beginning to get the urge to make a card so hopefully will have something to post in the next day or so.
Firstly, I'd like to share a card my Son, Lewis made me. It did make me laugh because (a) he put on it "sorry I ruined your day"! He's actually not been too bad over the half term break but yesterday evening did start playing me up, and (b) he wrote inside "please don't throw this away as it's the best card I've ever made and it took me 45 minutes to make"!!! Bless him!

As if I would throw it away! It's so sweet :

Well, I've had quite a few packages turn up in the last few days.

This is some of it! Because of the lack of mojo, I decided I needed more papers to inspire me so I got a couple of packs from Craft Central and a few more packs from Blonde Moments which I love. The stamps are Whipper Snapper which were reduced. I've also had seven Magnolias turn up so this inspired me to get a bit more organised so I emptied out some CD cases and stored my Magnolias and Sugar Nellies in them. I cut a piece of card to fit in the inside cover of the case and stamped the images on it so it's now easy to find which stamp I want. My pals on Tilda & Friends led me to this discovery. Have also now sharpened ALL my Prismas - I cheated a bit 'cause Lewis has a battery operated sharpener so once we'd got some new batteries, it took me all of ten minutes to do with only a couple of the pencils "playing up" a bit.

Have also been busy sorting out my ribbons.....the ones on the spools are fine, however, found I had so many loose pieces that I needed to do something with them so this is what I bought.

I've been after one of these for a while and Ribbon Oasis now stock them. I call it my 'ribbon monster' because if I put it on the floor, I expect it to scuttle across the carpet!! It took me a while to put the ribbons through each of the separate holes but it's so easy to use, you just choose which ribbon you want to use, pull a length out and cut! Don't know how, but the ribbon doesn't get all tangled up inside the case either. Got a few more to add to it but it's still only half full!

I'll be back later 'cause I've got a couple more things to show you which I have received from two lovely ladies and one will involve a PIF from me. Off to do a bit of shopping now.

Last of the Whipper Snappers (for the moment!!)

Morning all......is it morning already?!! Had a very hectic night.....got woken up at 1.30 am with the sound of vomit bouncing off the landing carpet!! Sam wasn't very well and didn't quite make it to the bathroom so spent most of the early hours of this morning trying to clean the landing carpet, the carpet in his bedroom, washing bedclothes and cleaning him up!!! Eventually got to bed at 4.30 am then was woken at 9.15 this morning by Sam asking me if I was getting up because his tummy was empty and he was hungry!!! Got to love 'em!! Anyway, at least he's feeling better. Got to try and phone the Carpet Cleaner in a minute and order Sam a new mattress as his is ruined....oh the fun of being a Mother!! Back to business now, here's a card I made during the week with one of my new Whipper Snapper arrivals. It's funny what happens to me when I lose my internet connection so I can't do any blogging.........I end up doing some crafting!!!! Well that's what happened yesterday afternoon and evening....my internet connection kept flicking on and off probably due to all the bad weather we experienced. Not quite so windy today but the rain is continuous! I actually finished my Easter Egg bags yesterday whoo hoo!!! Well, I say finished, I've got three more to put together but I have coloured the label and everything but I need to go to Asda and buy some more creme eggs and I'm not going anywhere today because I'm due a parcel delivery....hopefully, my camera! I hope you're ready for these photos....I was just going to put one picture on but thought hey, I had to suffer making them, they should suffer looking at them!!! The photos aren't very good I'm afraid and I'm proud to say that not one chocolate egg was harmed during the making of these bags......in ot...
