All About Katy

Sorry, but this is going to be a very quick posting mainly because of the boys and their out of school commitments, so thought you might like to see the photos of a book I made my Niece, Katy, for her 30th birthday. The book came with it's own box, however, had to paint the whole lot before I could get started. You will see, if you look closely, that the lid of the box has a piece of acetate attached to it. This was used as a pocket to put the birthday card. Hope you like?

What a fab book! I'm on the lookout for something a little special for my daughters 21st, something like this would be great, but not sure I have enough time to do it! Its looks very time consuming. Anyhow its absolutely stunning and something to be proud of!

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

WILL ALSO BE ADDING PHOTOS OF ENTRIES AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST FOR PEOPLE WHO DO NOT HAVE A BLOG. As promised, it's blog candy time. There are three reasons for me doing this. (2) It's my birthday in just over a week and (3) had some fantastic news - Tony (my husband) is coming home for good!! For those of you who don't know, Tony has been working in Australia for the past 15 months and we have only seen him twice in that time.....the last time being at the beginning of October last year!
