Glitter Pot Competition


Thought I would add this card quickly before I have to go and pick my little darlings up from school and my peace is shattered!


The Glitter Pot is running a christmas card competition. When I saw this advertised, I had only just bought this Penny Black stamp which I absolutely adore - another cute one. Anyway, made this card up and decided to try my luck with it.
I have embossed a piece of light blue Bazzill c.s. with the Cuttlebug snowflakes folder and fixed it to front of card. Stamped and coloured image with Brushables and mounted onto two different tones of blue c.s. I then stamped the sentiment (Penny Black) and used Woodware circle punch and scalloped punch, cut to size, then fixed onto front of card and attached a piece of co-ordinating ribbon across the front.

Birthday Blog Candy!

Well, the goodies finally arrived in time for my birthday so can now show you what I have on offer. There are three stamps - Skater Ian from The Greeting Farm, Parateddy from Elzybells and the elephant from Rachelle Anne Miller. There is some lilac jute, a pack of blue fibres and a pack of pink fibres, a selection of lilac ribbons in their own organza bag, lace, crochet flowers, a bag of blooms from Poppicrafts and a bag of spacers. My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!...
