A Thank You From Edwin

I didn't think I'd have a card to show you quite so soon, however, my friend asked if I could make her a thank you card a.s.a.p. and I don't like letting people down so found this image I had already coloured and put together a very quick card.

The layout looks a bit wonky in the photo but I think it was just the angle I took it as it's OK IRL! The image is Magnolia coloured with Promarkers and matted onto some plain red card with doodling around the edge. The papers are from SU as is the sentiment and the scallop punch and corner rounder punch. The other punch is from Fiskars.

Enjoy your Wednesday - I've got to do a bit of shopping at Asda (yuk!) and then settle down to yet more college work!!

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!...
