Yet More Green!!

Had an hour to spare yesterday before an appointment, so decided to put a card together to keep my mind occupied.

Got all my favourites out for this one - my Daisy stamp (coloured with PM's), My Mind's Eye papers, distressed and sewn and a little charm which I bought from E-bay fixed onto the card with some fibres.

Got to do some shopping today as my eldest is off to London on Monday for a week with the school, so must make sure I've got everything for him so we can get him packed at the weekend.

Will be back tomorrow with my DT work.

Lovely Card Jo, love the added touch of the fibres and the charm. I'd love to be able to add stitching to my cards like this, but sadly me and a sewing machine just don't get on!

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
