Green Has Left the Building!

I've finally managed to make a card without using green......or at least not much!! Don't know what came over me recently as I've never made so many green cards in my life! Found this paper in my stash and I love it so made up a very simple card.



The image was a RAK from Vanessa which I've coloured with PM's and added some doodling around the edge. I think it's a Sugar Nellie (minus the cat!) but please let me know if I'm wrong. Papers are My Mind's Eye which have been distressed and stitched using my sewing machine. Added a piece of lace to the bottom edge of the patterned paper. Cardstock is SU. Sentiment is Papertrey Ink. Layered some flowers together with a fancy brad from my stash and embellished it with a couple of heart clips which I pulled apart. Finally, added a little star charm which I got from Ebay.

oh jo this is so gorgeous ~just love those colours oh what scrummy paper ~yes the image is sugar nellie ~where is the cat?? let me know if you need any more images ~maybe a while until i get round to doing them though ~still not 100% and now up 2 nights with lewis with a fever ...... is it never ending .. had a letter from the paediatrician this moring ..now having to go to hospital with lewis ....oh forgot i`m on your blog ~see no sleep!! will e-mail you this weekend ~hows life ~have been thinking of you

Birthday Blog Candy!

Last of the Whipper Snappers (for the moment!!)

Morning all......is it morning already?!! Had a very hectic night.....got woken up at 1.30 am with the sound of vomit bouncing off the landing carpet!! Sam wasn't very well and didn't quite make it to the bathroom so spent most of the early hours of this morning trying to clean the landing carpet, the carpet in his bedroom, washing bedclothes and cleaning him up!!! Eventually got to bed at 4.30 am then was woken at 9.15 this morning by Sam asking me if I was getting up because his tummy was empty and he was hungry!!! Got to love 'em!! Anyway, at least he's feeling better. Got to try and phone the Carpet Cleaner in a minute and order Sam a new mattress as his is ruined....oh the fun of being a Mother!!
