Alot's Been Happening!

I haven't got a card to show today but do have some photos. We've had a busy time in our home just recently - firstly the Tooth Fairy has paid a visit FIVE times in the last couple of weeks and just couldn't resist showing you this photo of Sam - he's now lost his top two teeth - don't they look so cute when that happens! Plus, it's great hearing him trying to talk and seeing him try to eat lol!!! Lewis has lost three teeth but he's more camera shy!!

Yesterday was a big day for Sam. Firstly, his class did their assembly at school and the topic was traditional stories so the class did a rap of Red Riding Hood - it was so funny and they looked so cute in their shades, baseball caps and bling (which they made themselves out of pasta and paint!!)

Then, in the evening Sam's big moment had come and he graded for his Black Belt at Tae Kwon-do and he did me and his big brother proud! What a star! The belt is actually embroidered with his name and the date of his grading. So now he moves on to "big boys" Tae Kwon-do and he's so excited about it!

One more bit of news from me - I managed to sit and pass my first module of the ECDL which I was chuffed about - got another one booked in for Monday so hopefully that will go just as well. They do allow you one month to do each module, however, seem to be zooming through them at the moment. And finally (!) found out that Lewis got in to the Senior School we wanted! Don't know if other people experience this difficulty in other parts of the country, but it is VERY difficult to get into certain schools down here so we are all extremely happy with the outcome. Just got to start saving for the uniform now which costs an arm and a leg!

Do hope you have a good weekend.

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!...
