No Change!

Even though the sun is out today (still cold with a heavy frost last night!), things are not so sunny inside! The boys are still not well and just to top it all, I woke up with a splitting headache...just hoping I haven't caught it as well because that's how Sam's bug started!

Two things to share with you today and one of them is this photo I took last night - I left the boys downstairs watching TV while I went to get their rooms ready for bed and feed the guinea pigs and at one point I thought "they're extremely quiet", so downstairs I go, only to find this......

Oh, bless them! See, I knew they loved each other really!! Sam was fast asleep and dribbling everywhere but Lewis didn't seem to mind!

The second thing I have to show is a card I made recently for my Dad to give to one of his friend's little girls. I had this image already coloured so just picked out the papers and put it together - it was only when I was photographing it that I thought I'd seen it before! After looking through my files on the computer, realised that I had done one almost the same only a few weeks back! Anyway, here is the more up-to-date one.

The image is called Kaitlin and is from Whipper Snapper and was coloured with Promarkers. DP was from Dawn, cardstock is Bazzill, sentiment is Penny Black and crochet flower and brad are from my stash.

Off to make breakfast for the boys now....treating them to hot chocolate as their throats are so sore, they don't want anything to eat. I know it's not healthy but what the heck!! Have a good day!

Gorgeous photo of your boys and an equally gorgeous card! Love the papers, image and colour scheme. As for a sore throat.... I prescribe lots of fizzy pop and tomato soup ... use have copious amounts of it when I used to have tonsillitious every month before they were extracted lol! Jillix

Last of the Whipper Snappers (for the moment!!)

Morning all......is it morning already?!! Had a very hectic night.....got woken up at 1.30 am with the sound of vomit bouncing off the landing carpet!! Sam wasn't very well and didn't quite make it to the bathroom so spent most of the early hours of this morning trying to clean the landing carpet, the carpet in his bedroom, washing bedclothes and cleaning him up!!! Eventually got to bed at 4.30 am then was woken at 9.15 this morning by Sam asking me if I was getting up because his tummy was empty and he was hungry!!! Got to love 'em!! Anyway, at least he's feeling better. Got to try and phone the Carpet Cleaner in a minute and order Sam a new mattress as his is ruined....oh the fun of being a Mother!! Back to business now, here's a card I made during the week with one of my new Whipper Snapper arrivals. I don't know how often I will use this stamp but it was a case of "ooh, it's so sweet, I've just got to have it!!" I've coloured the snai...

I've Been Busy!!!

It's funny what happens to me when I lose my internet connection so I can't do any blogging.........I end up doing some crafting!!!! Well that's what happened yesterday afternoon and evening....my internet connection kept flicking on and off probably due to all the bad weather we experienced. Not quite so windy today but the rain is continuous! I actually finished my Easter Egg bags yesterday whoo hoo!!! Well, I say finished, I've got three more to put together but I have coloured the label and everything but I need to go to Asda and buy some more creme eggs and I'm not going anywhere today because I'm due a parcel delivery....hopefully, my camera! I hope you're ready for these photos....I was just going to put one picture on but thought hey, I had to suffer making them, they should suffer looking at them!!! The photos aren't very good I'm afraid and I'm proud to say that not one chocolate egg was harmed during the making of these bags......in ot...
