Happy Birthday Carly!

It's one of my Sisters' birthday today (got three sisters and three brothers!!) and this is the card I made for her. I think it was one of the quickest cards I have ever made as I was seriously pushed for time with everything else that has been going on recently!

I already had this image coloured (Magnolia) so searched through my scrap box for some papers to match......think they's DCWV Glitter collection. Tilda has been coloured with Promarkers (what else!) and used som Bazzill c.s. scraps for layering. Sentiment is SU and also used SU punch to layer it on.

Must rush as loads to get on with.

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
