What a Day!

It's just coming up to quarter past four in the afternoon and I have just literally got back to the house and managed to sit down for five minutes! Was up all night with toothache and managed to get in with the Emergency Dentist at the hospital this morning who told me my abscess is back and has given me some anti-biotics to try and calm it down. Since then, have been dropping off Christmas presents here, there and everywhere but did manage to fit in a visit to Santa - the boys were so excited and I can't quite believe that Lewis, who is eleven, still believes in him! Think he is having doubts though as he's asking alot of questions about him and when Santa asked him what he wanted for Christmas, he reeled off a list of the presents which are hidden in my wardrobe - very suspicious!!!!

You'll be relieved to hear that I have no Christmas cards to show today! Instead, thought I would show you the gift bags I made a friend and the boys' Teachers. I only had the brown ones so just decorated them with some paper, etc. I've been dying to use this High Hopes stamp since I got it and just couldn't pass up on the chance!

Stamps: High Hopes

Colouring: Promarker

Papers: Cricut

Extras: Glamour Dust, Cricut Machine, Papermania, SU Scallop Edge Punch

Going to put my feet up for half an hour and grab myself a nice glass of wine and try to unwind. Hope you're all having a good weekend.

Ooooh Jo I love these bags, I need to make a bag for my niece to put her Weight Watchers biscuits in .... yeah thrilling I know but its better than falling off the wagon ... Christmas is gonna be hard enough as it is. Had some of those image sent to me in a RAK, might have to use one to make a top thingymajiggy for my bag. Thanks for the idea. Glad you got ur tooth sorted and hopefully you'll be feeling better soon! hugs Jillix

Sorry to hear you've got toothache again. Nothing worse, mine has just settled down after 2 weeks! Why does it always seem worse at the weekend when its a struggle to get to see a dentist? Hope the antibiotics kick in soon.

Gorgeous bags Jo, love the stamp, another one to go on my wish list!

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!...
