Happy Birthday Lewis!

My eldest Son is 11 today whoo hoo!!!!! To be honest with you, wasn't sure if he was going to make it as I have come close to strangling him this week!!! Was he excited or what!!! Anyway, we got up early to open his presents and he's extremely happy because he got his mobile phone so he's gone off to school with a big smile on his face! I still have Sam home so we are just baking Lewis's birthday cake.
Thought I would share the cards I made for Lewis. The first one is from Sam........

......and this one is from me and Tony........


Two more stamps I've had for a while but have never inked up!! The images are High Hopes and have been coloured with Promarkers. Papers are Basic Grey, sentiment is also High Hopes. The large blue brads in the top card are from Poppicrafts and the green clip (which says "laugh" on it) is Making Memories. For the bottom card I used some giant eyelets from SU, ribbon, stickers, rub-ons and plastic tags all from my stash. Finally, added a bit of doodling around the images. Must admit was really pleased with the finished results as I was unsure what image to use for an eleven year old but got away with these as Lewis was really pleased with them!

I haven't forgotten about my blog candy - thank you so much for all the entries I've received but will have to keep you in suspense just a little while longer as Lewis will be picking the winner when he comes home from school.

Last of the Whipper Snappers (for the moment!!)

Morning all......is it morning already?!! Had a very hectic night.....got woken up at 1.30 am with the sound of vomit bouncing off the landing carpet!! Sam wasn't very well and didn't quite make it to the bathroom so spent most of the early hours of this morning trying to clean the landing carpet, the carpet in his bedroom, washing bedclothes and cleaning him up!!! Eventually got to bed at 4.30 am then was woken at 9.15 this morning by Sam asking me if I was getting up because his tummy was empty and he was hungry!!! Got to love 'em!! Anyway, at least he's feeling better. Got to try and phone the Carpet Cleaner in a minute and order Sam a new mattress as his is ruined....oh the fun of being a Mother!! Back to business now, here's a card I made during the week with one of my new Whipper Snapper arrivals. Birthday Blog Candy!
