Blitzen in a Blizzard!

I've finally done it! Not only have I made a Christmas card but I've managed to do one which literally, only takes ten minutes, so one down, 120 to go!!!

The card base was layered with red Bazzill c.s. and some white c.s. which I had scored with my Scor-pal at the top and bottom. The image is an Anita's stamp and just added some sparkle to the snowdrops and layered onto red c.s. Added some flowers from Poppicrafts with a red brad from my stash and a few sticky gems from Papermania and Voila!! Must admit, I do like the overall clean cut effect.

Off for a quick coffee and then pick the boys up. Have spent the morning doing my Dad's Christmas shopping and I haven't started my own yet!

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
