Just a Reminder!

Just to let you know that tomorrow is the last day of my blog candy and thought I would clarify that you have until Midnight (GMT) tomorrow to enter. I will then get the birthday boy (Lewis's birthday on Wednesday!) to pick a winner if he can tear himself away from his presents (which I haven't finished buying yet!).

Pretty hectic here again today - Lewis is better and back to school and my headache didn't turn into anything, thank goodness. However, Sam is still poorly so he spent the day at home with his Mummy colouring. I've got so many cards to make so thought I would kill two birds with one stone! Here's one of the cards I made and surprisingly enough it's not a Christmas card! My Dad wanted a card for my sister as it's her birthday on Thursday so came up with this one.

The image is Penny Black coloured with a combination of Brushables and Promarkers and used a couple of my punches to layer it, did a bit of doodling around the edge and added a little bow from my stash. DP is My Minds Eye, Sentiment is MFT and hardware, flowers and brads are from my stash.

Back to making Lewis's cards now.......we had a bit of a panic tonight as Lewis announced he had to hand in a model of the wardrobe from Narnia by tomorrow and apparently, they were informed of this two weeks ago!! Wasn't his fault 'though as he was off school the day they were told so I wasn't best pleased with his Teacher! Anyway, we managed it with the help of my Scor-pal and some of those tiny clothes hangers which I've had in my stash for years and never used......knew they'd come in handy one day!!

Enjoy your evening!

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!
