Got a Christmas Card To Show!

Actually, I've got two! Yes, have managed to make a start on my Christmas cards. I have already done the ones to send abroad and those have been posted but I'm way behind with the others so here's two I made yesterday while Sam was writing his Christmas cards (bought those!).

I'm not going to bother listing the items used as (1) there aren't many and (2) can't remember the make of the paper!! However, stamp is from Cuddly Buddly, coloured with Promarkers and some Glamour Dust added to his hat and c.s. is Bazzill.

This one is made using an image from Vanessa (thanks sweetie!), coloured with Promarkers and some Glamour Dust. Sentiment is Doodlebug and the yummy papers are My Minds Eye (really love their designs at the moment). You will probably notice that I tend to doodle around the edges of the image - found it frames the image without the need to layer it, making it quicker to make!!

Right, off to see the Birthday Girl now. Will be back tomorrow with a couple more Christmas cards!

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
