Stamp Something Red, Green and Gold!

Crikey, it's Friday already - I wish I could stop the clock for a week so I could catch up! It's challenge time on Stamp Something and this week the challenge is "red, green and gold". Suits me as I've got a zillion Christmas cards still to make!!

Stamps: Magnolia, Penny Black

Colouring: Promarkers

Papers: Blonde Moments

Extras: Glamour Dust, Bell from Lindt Easter Bunny!

Thought that the "gold" parts looked a bit too yellow, so found a little gold bell I was hiding away in my stash - knew it would come in handy for something!

This week's challenge is being sponsored by our very own Denise of Whimsy Stamps so well worth entering!

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
