Whose A Lucky Girl!!!

Sorry I haven't been around much lately....had so much to do and miles behind with my challenges. Anyway, managed to make a couple of cards today but the light is too bad to photograph them tonight so will post them tomorrow.

In the meantime, I wanted to share a lovely package I received a few days ago from my good friend Denise. First of all I got this gorgeous card......

....and there was also this fabulous folder.......

Wow, lots of images for me to play with. Plus, there was a set of SU stamps!!...sorry there's no photo but I rushed them upstairs to my craft desk to mount them ready to play with them and forgot to take a picture!!! How generous is that!!! Thank you so much Denise....I really do appreciate it and even though I've never met you, you've become a really good friend of mine over the past couple of months and I love exchanging news and views with you. Besides that, you're so talented and really inspire me with your work.

Will be back tomorrow with some cards of my own....I promise!

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

FOR NEWER POSTS, PLEASE SEE BELOW ***** I just can't believe it's a year ago that I started up my blog and thought I was sat there talking to myself!!! and I am so thankful for all the wonderful people and friends I have made over the past year - you're such a great bunch of girls!! This includes a Lippy Chick Flip Book for altering, High Hopes stamps, Cricketer stamp, alphabet stamps, ribbons, flowers, brads and embellishment kit (all from Poppicrafts). All you have to do to help me celebrate is leave a comment and mention my blog candy on your blog and that's it!! I will draw a winner next Tuesday 09 December and in the meantime, will leave this posting at the top of my blog. Oh, and by the way, this is open to everyone as I will post internationally. Hope you all have a great day!

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
