Squeaky Baker!

Ila has some gorgeous blog candy on offer and to enter, you have to make a card following this sketch.....

I've had good post days all this week so decided to use one of my new Whipper Snapper stamps called Squeaky Baker. I've been promising myself this stamp for ages and finally treated myself and I just love him!! Also had a new supply of Blonde Moments Sugar Dumpling paper arrive so decided to use both of these in my card.

You'll probably have to click on the card to get a better look as I really don't think the photo is that good. I've coloured the little chap with Prismas and Sansodor and added glamour dust to some of the cakes. He's layered onto mirricard and Bazzill c.s. Papers are Blonde Moments, Sticky Gems are Papermania, Flower is W.H. Smith, jewelled brad is Papermania or Dovecraft (sorry, can never remember which one it is!) and sentiment is Woodware.

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!...
