A Few Folders

Thought I was going to have a free day today to get on with some crafting but nothing ever goes to plan!! Got the shopping done at Asda first thing and was just about to settle down to some cardmaking when the phone rings......it was the school asking me to collect Lewis as he wasn't feeling well. He's now in bed fast asleep, poor chap, so that gives me some time to post this and colour in a couple of images in the hope of putting a card together tonight when the boys are in bed.

These are three folders I made a couple of days ago to send out some images to blogging buddies.

The image on the right (Tilda in Paris) was one of the Magnolias kindly sent to me by Sue. They've all been coloured in the usual way - Prismas and Sansodor with Glamour Dust on their wings, apart from Paris Tilda whose wings are hidden. Folders were made from plain white cardstock with papers, coloured c.s. and ribbons from my stash. Tiny sticky gems are from Papermania.

Super cute folders! I just love these. They are so fun!

BTW, where do you get your white cardstock? I was using one of the Nellie images the other day and it is so perfect for watercoloring. Just curious! :) I keep meaning to ask you.

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!...
