Check It Out!

Back again! The challenge on Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge is to use checks on your work in whatever form you like.
Couldn't make up my mind which image to use this week, so I did two!!

I've used the first ever Tilda I bought (one of my favourites), paper pieced her top and coloured her with Prismas and Sansodor. I added glamour dust to her wings and some glaze pen to her shoes. I also used the steps coloured again with Prismas and Sansodor. Tilda has been placed on the steps with foam pads to 3D her. Paper and c.s. are scraps from my stash, flower is from Sir Stampalot and sticky gems are Papermania. Sentiment is from Woodware.

Now for the second one......

I've used the same scraps of paper and cardstock for this one but used the Magnolia teddy. Coloured him with Prismas and Sansodor and paperpieced the pads on his paws, the heart, inside of his ears and his patch (very fiddly I can tell you!!). Brads are from my stash, sentiment is from Autumn Leaves and flower is from Sir Stampalot.

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!...
