Martha's Turn!

Good morning all and what a very wet day it is in Weymouth.....pouring with rain! Have to go out this morning so thought I would quickly add this card as it seems an age since I last made one!

When I made my black and white card with William the Goblin, Lewis absolutely loved it and asked me if I would make one similar for his friend's birthday. His friend is a girl and so decided to use Martha, however, this card wouldn't work with the original layout so changed it slightly and then discovered it qualified for the CCT challenge!!

Coloured Martha with Prismas and Sansodor and used my Nestabilities to make the ovals. Papers are from Pink Petticoat printed onto lightweight c.s., ribbon is Doodlebug, sentiment is from SU and used the SU punches for the layering. Sticky gems are Papermania.

Sorry this is so rushed but have an appointment to keep. Hope the weather is better where you are!

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!...
