Faux Somethings!

It's Friday which means it's time for the next Stamp Something challenge. This week it's Faux Somethings which can only mean one thing for me......stitching! !

I've used this Tilda with her broom.....I bought her a little while ago and thought it was about time I inked her up. I've coloured her with Prismas and Sansodor and drawn around the edge then mounted her onto Bazzill c.s. The card base has been layered with Bazzill c.s. and Karen Foster DP (which has faux stitching on!) and I've run the lime green piece of card through the Cuttlebug with the Swirls embossing folder. I then added Doodlebug faux stitches rub ons around the edges of each layer. The sentiment is a Studio G stamp, which I won on the CCT challenge site and the flowers are Prima Sprites with a small brad from my stash. Finally, three tiny sticky gems from Papermania were added to the top left-hand corner. Don't laugh at me but this Tilda reminded me of Cinderella cleaning up before her transformation! hence the reason for the sentiment I used!! Now you know I've totally lost it!!!!

Pop on over and take a look at the challenge because there are some gorgeous SU stamps on offer as a prize, and talking of blog candy, I will be posting details of mine this weekend as I have now received the various bits and pieces in the post for the prize. Just got to photograph them and I'm ready to go!

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
